In addition to the 2400-round box magazine, the A&K M249 has the ability to use standard M4/M16 magazines (just like the Classic Army), so you can share magazines with the rest of your squad. The folding metal bi-pod and full stock with shoulder rest make this SAW ready to lay down cover fire.

Taurus PT92

Due to a continuity error, the MacManus brothers' Beretta 92FS pistols become Brazilian-made Taurus PT92s in several scenes. They are distinguished by their frame mounted slide stop safety instead of the slide mounted decocking safety found on the Beretta. The assassin (name?) also uses a pair of stainless sound suppressed PT92s to kill the family in the flashback as Rocco explains why they should kill him.

An M136 AT4 Launcher is seen sitting on the ground near the back wall of the armory.

SIG-Sauer P220 pistol (Switzerland)

The SIG-Sauer P220 is short-recoil operated, locked-breech pistol. The locking is of modified Browning type, where the barrel engages the slide with single large lug entering the ejection window. The unlocking is controlled by a cam-shaped lug under the barrel, which interacts with the steel insert set into the aluminium frame. The slide is made from sheet steel by stamping and forming processes, with the separate breechblock pinned into the rear of the slide (machined slides are available on some current production .45 caliber models). The standard trigger is the double-action type, with an automatic firing pin block safety and a frame-mounted decocking lever. Double action only modifications do not have a decocker. Most recent SAO (Single action only) versions have ambidextrous non-decocking safeties located on the frame, which allow for "Cocked & Locked" carry. Magazines are single stack, with the magazine release located on the heel of the grip on early versions, or at the base of the trigger-guard on the .45 caliber versions made for the US market. The standard sights are fixed, with high contrast inserts, and the rear sight is dovetailed to the slide.

Japanese Katana Swords

The katana emerged in the sixteenth century as a curved, single-edged weapon of the Samurai warrior class in Japan. When paired with a shoto (short sword) such as a wakizashi or the dagger-like tanto, the result is a daisho, a pair of swords worn representing the honor, social power and the very soul of the Samurai warrior. The longer katana was used in open combat primarily for cutting, slashing, and parrying maneuvers, while the shorter blades were used for close-quarters stabbing as well as seppuku, or ritual suicide. Katana swords were traditionally worn the edge facing up, and the art of drawing and attacking an enemy, known as iaido took years to master its many intricacies.

machine gun

Like other nations which faced German troops, the USA gave a great deal of attention to German machine guns. Early experiments to convert the MG 42 to the US rifle calibre, carried out by the Saginaw Steering Gear division of General Motors Corp with the T24 prototype, resulted in a complete failure, because someone ‘forgot’ that the US .30-06 cartridge is about 6 mm (1/4 of an inch) longer than the German 7.92mm Mauser cartridge. Despite that setback, the US Army set out to develop a general purpose machine gun for its troops, and in 1945 started a series of trials to test guns developed by various state armories, American private companies and some systems from foreign contractors.
In 1946 the US Army tested the .30-06 calibre T44 machine gun, an interesting weapon which combined features from two remarkable German designs – the action of the FG42 machine rifle and the belt feed unit from the MG42 machine gun. The most notable feature of the T44 was the placement of the belt feed module, which was located on the left side of the receiver (with the belt passing vertically from bottom to top) instead of the more common top position with a lateral belt movement.
The development of the T44 was stopped in 1948, when it was decided to concentrate on a new, shortened 7.62mm T65 cartridge. Work on a new prototype, designated T52, commenced in 1947 and was continued up until 1952, when it was decided to persuade a derivative of the T52 design, known as the T52E3, under the new designation T161. Originally chambered in .30-06 (as a backup measure for the guns chambered for new 7.62mm T65E3 ammunition), the T161 went through several versions, starting with the 7.62mm T161E1 and up to T161E3, which was finally adopted in 1957 as the “machine gun, 7.62mm, M60”.

G-3

The modern G3 comes in two main size variants, the full size G3, with a 17.71 inch barrel, and the G3K or 'Kurz' with a 12.40 inch barrel. All G3s suffer from heaviness and excessive recoil of the 7.62 x 51 cartridge in automatic fire. Remember though that this gun comes from the same genre as the FAL and M14, when the new NATO round was standard, and rifles were being developed for it. They together helped with the realization that in order to have an individually issued automatic rifle, that the cartridge had to be smaller to provide any hope of decent hit probability, not to mention that .308 rounds are simply much heavier in their magazines than that which succeeded them.

Berreta handguns

The company Beretta handgun manufactures 1915 for the Italian armed forces for the year. With all models it acts around simple recoil operated weapons with mass catch, which were manufactured briefly up to the Second World War in the calibers of 7.65 mm of Browning (7.65 x 17 mm) or 9 mm (9 x 17 mm). After the Second World War the reorganized Italian units demanded a higher performance side weapon in the caliber of 9 mm of Parabellum (9 x 19 mm), whereupon Beretta handgun developed the handgun model 951, which was introduced 1951 at the army of Italy. The model 951 has a drop block catch, a single-row magazine with a capacity of 8 shot and a single act ion departure. 1976 began then the series production of the successor model 92, which in principle as a Beretta handgun model 951 brought up to date of the technology is regarded. It received in contrast to the predecessor’s double-row 15-Schuss-Magazin, departure system with clamping departure (double act ion departure) and another manual safety device; the outside form, which became operational principle and the pawl catch maintained.

Hi-Power Pistol

Today dear readers, our Monday morning gun porn is somewhat bittersweet for me as my Hi Power was seized by the State as few years ago. Notwithstanding the UKs absurd firearms legislation, today we celebrate John Moses Browning’s classic design

Initially, the "High Power" pistol was designed by John M. Browning in 1925 and was patented in the USA in 1927, soon after the death of the Browning. The design was aquired by Belgian state-owned company FN Herstal, and improved by FN designer Dieudonne Saive. The resulting pistol was shelved until 1935, when Belgian army was ready to adopt new sidearm.

The HP was offered for trials and won, and was adopted as a Model 1935 pistol. Soon after that it was also adopted by Belgian police and by many foreign countries, including the Britich Commonwealth ones. The High Power is the only sidearm that served for both sides in WW2. Germany used many HPs manufactured in occupied Belgium, while Allies used HPs manufactured mostly in Canada by Inglis. The HP continues its service well into the 21st century with many armies and police forces, being the second longest 'living' service pistol after another famous Browning design, the Colt 1911.

3.2 Shotguns

All shotguns have three major parts. These three parts are: Stock, Action, Barrel.
  • The stock is the part of the shotgun that you hold. It helps you hold, aim, and fire the gun.
  • The action is the part of the shotgun that loads, fires, and unloads the shotshells.
  • The barrel is the part of the shotgun that sends the shot pellets to the target.

Why are some shotguns called smoothbores?

The Rifle, Handgun and Shotgun Bores drawing shows the inside of a shotgun barrel, which is smooth. Therefore, some shotguns are called smoothbores. Also, the shotgun barrel is thinner than a rifle barrel. The barrel looks like a piece of thin steel pipe. Shotguns usually shoot pellets, also called shot.

AA12 Assault Shotgun

The AA12 Assault Shotgun is a weapon constructed with heat treated, corrosion resistant, aircraft quality stainless steel. It is gas operated, air cooled and fires from the open bolt. The AA12 is both box magazine and drum fed having a rate of fire 360 rounds per minute. When correctly fired, there is a counter recoil mechanism incorporated in the design of the gun which reduces recoil to a minimum.
his automatic shotgun may be fired single shot by releasing the trigger quickly after each round or fully automatic by holding the trigger to the rear without releasing it. There are no tools necessary for field maintenance and cleaning of this weapon. It best operates without the use of oils or lubricants and may be cleaned with soap and water. Removal of the barrel assembly only requires the use of a 3/16 inch allen wrench, while complete disassembly and assembly requires the use of fingers only. Within the design there is a cone shaped barrel extension which provides! 100% positive feed.

Rate of Fire Approximately 6rds/Second or 360rds/Minute
Length of Barrel 19 inches
Gauge of Bore 12

UTG Shotgun

UTG Heavyweight black shotguns are incoming. We received some today to test out, take pictures of, etc. We didn't want to post any news on this gun until we had a chance to hold and field test the gun ourselves. Our overall thoughts in a nutshell? - "Kickin' Rad!"
Two versions of the shotgun are available: Pistol grip short style, or the full stock long shotgun. The shotgun fires one 6mm round per trigger pull, not a bunch at once. The FPS is a solid 250 w/.20 gram BBs! The gun is very accurate and shoots a very long distance. These specs, along with the nice adjustable hopup, make it one of the best spring guns we've ever sold before! The gun is extremely heavy and solid. Not that I advise dropping the gun (or any other gun for that matter), but it could easily absorb the shock.
